Who we are
dataready (the "service": this website, the dataready app you run on your own computer (the npm package dataready), the server at mcp.dataready.si that signs you in and serves the personas and the know-how, the quick-check MCP server there, and the report pages) is provided by Innovate d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia. Contact: bruno@innovate.si. By connecting the server or using the site you agree to these terms.
Free, and as it is
The service costs nothing. We may change, limit or stop any part of it, including the fair-use limits described in the docs. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Simulated people, simulated answers
The personas are fictional and their answers are generated by your own coding agent playing them. They can be wrong, inconsistent or biased. The report is a fast first opinion to help you find problems; it is not market research, not a forecast, and not a substitute for real customers. Decisions you take on the basis of a report are yours.
Using it fairly
- Test only pages you own or are authorised to test.
- Do not use the service to attack, overload or scrape anyone's site, to get around access controls, or to test pages behind a login with credentials that are not yours to use.
- Do not put personal data, secrets or confidential information into the pages, goals, steps or answers you send.
- Do not try to break, overload or misuse the service, its limits or its sign-in.
We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
The app on your computer
The dataready app runs on your computer and reads the project folder you start it in, read-only. What it makes stays in that project's .dataready folder; keeping, sharing or deleting it is up to you. The know-how it downloads from us (distributions, templates, briefs, scoring rules) is licensed to you for use with the app only, while you have access to the service; please do not redistribute or resell it.
Proposing an agent
When you propose a persona you confirm that it describes a type of person, not a real individual or a brand, and that you have the right to share the text. You license the persona text under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0; where you ask for credit, attribution is your name as you gave it. We review every proposal and may accept, edit for length and safety, decline or later remove any persona, without giving a reason.
Report pages
Report pages are private links protected by an access code and deleted after seven days. Anyone you give the link and code to can open the page; keep them to yourself if the content is sensitive.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Innovate d.o.o. is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit or lost data arising from the use of a free service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Disputes go to the competent court in Ljubljana, unless consumer law gives you the right to go to your own courts.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy notice.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
